I'M WORKING OUT AND I LIKE IT
So I have started working out for the first time ever in my life. The last couple of years I met a great guy, got married and gained about 60 lbs. Well I am not happy with that so I told my husband I wanted to loose weight and lucky me I have my very own personal trainer. He used to train MMA type of fighters so that they could fight and win. So about a week and a half ago we started training. It is hard at first I was only able to run half the block, do 10 push ups, 20 sit ups and basic Kung Fu training. Well Friday (a week later) I was up to a block in a half running, 30 push ups, 50 sit ups and was able to keep with the rest of my training. I was so proud of myself, my goal is 40 lbs by July, and that is a reasonable goal. Now I have to work on eating better, cutting down on all the processed junk, eating fresh foods, and making things from scratch. That is a lot easier said than done lol. I am always looking for good, and good for you recipes, I will be adding the ones I find to my recipe page here but if you would like to share your recipes or any comments or what works for you when trying to stay healthy and fit please leave a comment.
This is my training schedule with a few modifications cause I have never worked out really ever. I will say it will kick your rear if you're not use to it.
Basic Lung Ying training program for new students. The basic program should take about 3-4 weeks to complete:

3.Push-ups/Sit-ups: 50 each. Push-ups should be done with closed fist.
4.Forearm conditioning: Using a 1" diameter wooden dowel, shock the forearms with moderate-to-heavy force for 15 minutes. Follow with jow.
5.Shin conditioning: Using a rolling pin or glass Coke bottle, roll up and down the shins for 10 minutes. Follow with jow.

I will post some pictures I have one of me on day one. I will take another at the end of week four and I will be posting them to show my progress. I am also learning Thai Chi and I would like to (once I get it down) post a video of that.
